I enrolled for a course in finance and economics to learn how to be a money manager. I also enrolled for a Certified Financial Analyst course to help me gain knowledge in managing investment portfolios and also to analyze investments. After graduating from college, my next course of action was to look for an internship at a financial institution. I was lucky enough to get an entry level position at Bank of America. This is a financial institution that serves individuals, small and mid-sized businesses and even large corporations. We provide these clients with a full range of banking, investment, asset management among other financial and risk management products and services.
My internship with Bank of America helped me to gain experience and references that I needed in order to impress my potential clients. This also enabled me to get on the job skills at handling other people’s money. With my education and experience I am able to help individuals and even businesses to make huge savings, cut down on their expenses and make more profits.
I have continued with my education at the Certified Financial Analyst institute by taking extra courses to improve myself. I also attend financial conferences and network with other professionals like me. I am also well conversant with the professional code of conduct that guides my profession. I always put the integrity of my profession and the interests of my clients above my own. I have also learnt how to act with integrity, competence and respect. Finally I try to improve and maintain my professional competence whenever I can.
